We are strictly TRADE ONLY supplying nail technicians, manicurists, beauty therapists, salon owners and enrolled beauty students.
We stock a comprehensive range of competitively priced professional beauty products. We supply bulk lines for busy salons and we run regular product promotions across the brands. We keep up to date with new advances in the industry and we try our hardest to keep our customers advised to help them make a success of their business.
Our busy college division design and supply tailor made kits for colleges. We keep large stocks in our stores,
including bulk sizes and are able to fulfil large college orders quickly.
We operate a friendly and efficient product ordering service. Purchases may be made in the way that is most convenient to the customer - shop online (register with us now!), email, phone, click and collect or browse in our cash & carry. If you are experiencing difficulties obtaining a particular product we can provide information on product availability and delivery times.
The Nail Company continues to reduce its impact on the environment by operating a strict green policy. Packaging materials received by us are reused and where this is not possible they are recycled. Purchase of plastic packaging material is being substituted with paper products. Very little landfill waste (less than a black bin bag) is generated weekly which is quite remarkable considering the amount of stock that arrives and leaves our premises each week.
Internet and mail orders are despatched using national/international carriers. Due to the massive increase in global online purchasing, even the best carrier companies are pushed to handle the volume of parcels they receive in an 'appropriate' manner. We are aware that parcels may be dropped, thrown, trodden on, stacked anyway up (even when clearly marked to keep upright) or fall off conveyor belts! This is out of our control, so we try our best to safeguard your products during transportation by re-enforcing the side walls of your parcel with cardboard and packing the contents well. There is nothing more frustrating than receiving an order with breakages - we understand that this is a waste of your time.
The sales office and cash and carry are open Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm. We are closed on all Bank Holidays. Please Note: The business closes for annual staff holidays for 1 week in the summer (usually August Bank Holiday week) and between Christmas and New Year. Exact dates will be notified.

|Making A Purchase We endeavour to provide a "Next Day Delivery" service, even if you place your order as late as 1.30 pm.|
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfill the order.
The Nail Company is a TRADE supplier and has been established for over 25 years.
The prices published are for nail technicians and beauty therapists (either trained or undertaking training) and salon owners. If proof of professional status cannot be provided then limited lines may be available to non-trade persons at Recommended Retail Price and your invoice will be amended accordingly. If you are in any doubt please contact us. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will only be used for their intended purpose by fully trained therapists/technicians, or students taught under qualified instruction. Please note. The Nail Company will not accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from accidental misuse by untrained personnel. The Nail Company goods are not sold on a sale or return basis.
Please note that there is a minimum order value of £25.00 Incl. VAT and Carriage. We accept VISA, DELTA, ELECTRON, MASTERCARD, AMEX, SWITCH, MAESTRO through Sage Pay or PayPal card payment for online orders.
If it is a NEW CUSTOMER making payment by card, we will:
- Carry out appropriate SECURITY CHECKS to confirm the transaction is with the genuine cardholder
- Deliver to the cardholder statement address only
- Instruct the carriage company to obtain cardholder signature on delivery.
It is the CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY to CHECK THE ORDER UPON DELIVERY for accuracy, quality and damages and to notify The Nail Company WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS if there is ANY DISCREPANCY.
If the Customer breaches any of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, The Nail Company may defer or cancel any further deliveries of Goods, stop any Goods in transit and treat the Order as terminated.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
|Shipping And Handling In the normal course of events, orders will be:|
Delivered CARRIAGE FREE (in Mainland UK) if £50.00 (Net) and over in value.
Furniture and heavy goods will be subject to additional charges which will be quoted/agreed after placing the order.
All orders for mainland UK* below £50.00 net in value will be subject to a £4.95 + VAT CARRIAGE CHARGE. * *Excl Remote/Rural Highland areas.
All areas outside of mainland UK including: Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish Isles and Channel Islands etc., will be subject to carriage charges in addition to the order cost which will be quoted/agreed after the order is placed.
We generally use a contracted carrier providing a * NEXT DAY DELIVERY service (Monday to Friday). * We endeavour to provide a next day service to most parts of the Mainland UK (Excl. Remote/Rural Highland areas where a 2 day service and additional carriage charges may apply) however this service is not guaranteed.
Carriage charges cover packing and delivery.
In the normal course of events, The Nail Company will deliver the Order to the ADDRESS SPECIFIED BY THE CUSTOMER at the time of placing the Order. Please Note if the delivery address is changed after despatch an additional carriage charge will apply.
|Delivery Schedule In the normal course of events, orders will be:|
- DESPATCHED THE SAME WORKING DAY if placed by us onto our ordering system before 1.30 pm. (Closed Bank Holidays)
- Delivered NEXT WORKING DAY (Monday - Friday in Mainland UK exceptions some areas inc. rural/north Scotland)).
For the majority of Orders we use a *Next Day Delivery Service operating Monday to Friday. (Closed Bank Holidays)* We endeavour to provide a next day service to most parts of the Mainland UK., however please note that this service is not guaranteed.
Specific time for delivery will not form part of the Order. Although The Nail Company will endeavour to deliver goods by a date agreed with the Customer, such a date is given in good faith and the company will not be liable for any failure to deliver by such a date.
|Back Orders The Nail Company does not provide a back order service.|
You will always be contacted if we anticipate an excessive delay in supplying any item not in stock. You will have the option to cancel the item if you would rather not wait.
|Tax Charges For goods (except books) ordered from the UK or the European Union, 20.00% VAT is added. Orders from other jurisdictions are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .|

|Returns Policy UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY / DAMAGED IN TRANSIT|
The Nail Company will accept the return of Goods if unsatisfactory quality / damaged in transit if
i. Notified to us within 3 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
ii. Returned to us WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS
iii. We are satisfied that the Goods have not been opened or used any more than necessary to identify the need to return
iv.We are satisfied that the Goods are unsatisfactory quality / damaged in transit.
The Nail Company at its discretion will either replace or repair the Goods so that they comply with the contract. If we are unable to replace or repair the Goods we will issue a Credit Note.
Unless Goods are returned to The Nail Company due to the above, the Customer will not be entitled to return Goods to The Nail Company after delivery.
RETURNS (OTHER THAN GOODS OF UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY / DAMAGED IN TRANSIT)
The Nail Company will be entitled to refuse to accept the return of Goods at its entire discretion. In the case of chemical products The Nail Company will not replace or refund these Goods due to risk of contamination after leaving the premises. The Nail Company is unable to refund/exchange or replace electrical bulbs under any circumstances.
If The Nail Company does agree to accept the return of Goods then the Customer will pay for the Goods to be returned by appropriate means. If return is accepted the Goods must be
i. Notified to us within 3 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
ii. Returned to us WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
iii.Be returned unopened, unused and in re-saleable condition.
Under these circumstances, the Customer who returns the goods will normally incur a 15% of the price paid + VAT handling charge.
|Remittance Terms Orders will not be processed until payment has been received and cleared.|
If the Customer fails to make payment, The Nail Company may defer or cancel any further deliveries of Goods, stop any Goods in transit and treat the Order as terminated.
