The Nail Company has been established for over 15 years specialising in all aspects of Nail Techniques Training. When National Standards were laid down for the Nail Industry, The Nail Company became probably the first Private Nail Training Centre to promote and offer the recognised qualifications, with our students gaining qualifications from 1993 onwards.
We also offer training in beauty therapy.
Great care should be taken when choosing your training school to ensure the centre is an established and approved assessment centre. As an Independent Approved Assessment Centre in the nail industry we are closely linked to the awarding body and operate to a very high standard.
As the nail industry and products develop and improve and the techniques demanded of a technician grow, we respond by providing a range of top quality training at competitive prices. Training courses cover all the main systems and you can learn one or more depending upon your interests. You may be a complete beginner or wish to improve and update your skills. You may be interested in taking a formal qualification to put you on a professional footing and encourage client confidence in your work. Once qualified, it is essential to continue training and we advise you to attend at least one workshop a year.
We schedule and publish our Training Dates two to three months ahead. Courses are generally one, two or four days. When more than one day, the training days are apart allowing you to put into practice the skills learnt and we help with any questions or problems you may have on the following day's training. We recommend that you leave approximately one month between each stage (beginner, intermediate and advanced) of training in order to practise and study.
Training takes place in our centre located above The Nail Company shop premises. It is a naturally lit, airy and well designed training centre. We recommend that you visit the training centre prior to booking if possible, but please ring to make an appointment.
Car parking nearby is easy although we are well serviced with public transport.
In addition to training at The Nail Company, we offer In-Salon Training (for salons located within the South East of England) and Personal Individual Training at The Nail Company training centre.
