Requirements:
As Students work on each other - It is important that students have not had eyelash perming treatment in the weeks preceding the course. Students should wear a minimal amount of make up. It is advisable not to wear waterproof mascara on the day of the course. If you are a contact lense wearer, please make sure you make provisions to remove them for the course.
Insurance
The course is run by Training Solutions. Training Solutions' courses are accredited with the following professional beauty industry associations - ANT, BABTAC, Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, HABIA, INA, Professional Beauty Direct. There are several insurance companies that will insure you against a Training Solutions certificate.
With regard to obtaining insurance for Marvel-Lash, please speak to the bodies who approve the Marvel-Lash course such as Professional Nails/Beauty Direct 01622 740040. Other bodies include BABTAC, Guild of Professional Therapists, Salon Secure Underwriting. Some insurance bodies may require you to hold a certificate of anatomy and physiology as well.
Working Environment
In the normal working environment, the client lays on a couch. The technician sits at the end of the couch, on a height adjustable chair, in a comfortable working position above the client's face.

1. IF you wish to purchase the Solglo Complete Kit for the course (cost of the kit £695.00 + VAT), we would provide the training *FREE (* This would be based at The Nail Company Training Academy, Weybridge, Surrey). We would be flexible regarding a day for training - to suit you.
2. If you wish to train without purchasing a kit, you attend a scheduled training session. It's £50.00 + VAT for a half day training. We provide the equipment for the training. If you wish, you may purchase equipment and products at the end of the day. We would schedule a training day.

BEAUTY THERAPY
Two Day - Mini Beauty Course

This course covers the most popular beauty treatments requested today namely hair removal waxing, eyelash and brow treatments.
It is ideal for those who wish to gain an insight into beauty therapy in advance of undertaking formal qualifications and/or entering the industry in a commercial way. Formal qualifications in beauty therapy are not currently available at The Nail Company.
The training will allow you to apply the beauty treatments with confidence to yourself or others (friends and family) in a non-commercial way.
All products will be supplied for use on Day One of the course. We stock all products used during the training.
Day One no models are required - all candidates will work on each other and therefore require hair on their body with a minimum of three to four weeks growth.
This day covers:
Theory and Practical using two methods of application and three types of Warm Wax.
You choose the system you wish to specialise in and purchase your system on this day.
Day Two you bring a model with a minimum of three to four weeks hair growth on their body. You work on the model for the practical test in the morning and it is beneficial to use the same model in the afternoon.
This day covers:
Troubleshooting on Warm Wax
Theory and practical test on Warm Wax Application
Theory and hands-on practical on Eye Lash Tinting and Eye Brow Shaping.
